APPLICATION

Ensure all spa and hot tub equipment is working properly. Backwash and/or clean the filter system following manufacturer's directions. Maintain the pH at 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity at 100 to 150 ppm and calcium hardness at 100 to 275 ppm. If pH falls below 7.0, serious corrosion problems may result. When using other products as outlined in the directions for this product, always follow directions on those products.

For best results, apply the proper dosage of Clor Mor Spa Stain & Scale Control with no bathers present and allow the system to operate for a minimum of one hour.

DOSAGE: INITIAL DOSE: Add 2oz of STAIN & SCALE CONTROL per 500 gallons when iron, copper, and other metals are present.

MAINTENANCE DOSE: Add 1oz. of STAIN & SCALE CONTROL per 500 gallons every two weeks or as needed to keep water mineral and scale free.

Note: Cloudiness accompanied by white flakes may appear indicating that the product is working, the cloudiness will eventually disappear.

Clor Mor Spa Stain & Scale Control is used for prevention of metallic stains and hard water scaling. This product sequesters (ties up) the material causing stains and scale and holds them in solution. If stains exist, they may be old ones requiring complete cleaning of the spa surface or stains of an organic nature. Dissolved metals and minerals (such as iron, copper, calcium, manganese and magnesium) in source water and corrosion of metal spa equipment will often cause staining and/or scaling. Clor Mor Spa Stain & Scale Control is a concentrated solution of hydroxyethylidene-diphosphonic acid that is best used for prevention of metallic stain formation.
